Manager - New Partner and EB Operations

Higginbotham is seeking a Manager of New Partner & EB Operations to oversee the coordination and optimization of the Employee Benefits Operations Team. This role involves managing the operations team, collaborating with carriers and new partners, and ensuring a seamless transition for new partners into Higginbotham's structure.

Responsibilities

Manage Operations team, including conducting performance reviews, providing mentoring and coaching to ensure team growth
Oversee Carrier Management functions, including but not limited to Producer Appointments, Carrier on-site visits and presentations, online carrier portal access, and the Panel Carrier Program
Collaborate with carriers, new partners and internal team members to consolidate current New Partner contracts under Higginbotham's tax ID/producer numbers, ensuring that the New Partner's book of business is accurately reflected in supplemental compensation calculations
Support New Partner integration by maintaining the New Partner Project Plan using project management tools as necessary and supervise the coordination team
Act as liaison between New Partners and Higginbotham to answer questions, provide training on Operations and EB Day Two
Coordinate discovery meetings with New Partners to ensure a seamless transition to Higginbotham
Work closely with EB Regional Team Leads to help transition New Partners to Higginbotham structure

Required

Comprehensive knowledge of the insurance industry
At least 2 years account management experience
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Employee Benefits/Insurance industry
A minimum of 2 years experience leading a team
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to lift 25 pounds
Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens
Repeated use of hearing and speech to communicate on telephone and in person
Repetitive hand movements, such as keyboarding, writing, 10-key
Walking, bending, sitting, reaching and stretching in all directions

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree
Project Management experience
Active life and health license
Applied Epic experience, but knowledge of similar Agency Management System (AMS) is acceptable
