Private Equity Fund Accountant & Operations Associate
Glocap Search is an Investment Management firm seeking an Operations Associate to support the private equity side of their organization. The role involves managing fund operations, coordinating with fund administrators, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and operational procedures.
Responsibilities
Timely payment and tracking of fund capital calls, invoices and other fund cash movements
Daily banking reconciliation
Assist CFO in monthly and quarterly accounting reports; inputting data into internal accounting ledgers and reconciling with fund administrators
Coordinate capital calls and distributions with fund administrators
Establish and maintain operational procedures and processes for the funds
Manage and coordinate with the fund administrators and other service providers; liaise with service providers to ensure efficient and effective operations
Maintain internal tracking sheets of investors, including transactions and balances
Coordinate with investors and fund administrators on any investor wires
Update data-related marketing materials (i.e. monthly performance tearsheets, quarterly private equity letters)
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience in accounting, fund administration, audit or related industry
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong quantitative skills, including knowledge and understanding of finance and accounting
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; strong collaboration skills
Strong judgment and applies proper discretion when handling highly sensitive information/data
Willing to work in office full time
