They are seeking a talented and motivated Technician to join their integration business unit, responsible for installing and maintaining low voltage systems while ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.
Security & Investigations
Responsibilities
Install cabling, field devices, headend equipment, and basic programming for a variety of low voltage systems
Analyze blueprints, schematics, and system drawings
Ensure projects are completed within state and local regulations, and project specifications
Participate in approved job-related training and development programs
Follow company and site safety guidelines utilizing best practices to ensure a safe working environment
Update & maintain project documentation
Ensure quality control for assigned task
Material management for assigned projects
Monitor and manage subcontractors
Responsible for updating management on the status of all work performed daily
Perform additional technician-related functions as assigned by management
Clean up work area daily
Maintain assigned vehicle and company equipment
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic understanding of structured cabling principles, including copper and fiber optic cabling standards and installation techniques
Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in cabling and electronic security installations
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
Preferred
Relevant certifications or vocational training in structured cabling, electronics, or a related field is a plus
Familiarity with electronic security systems, such as access control, CCTV, fire alarm, and intrusion detection, is desirable
