Desktop Support Specialist
RBR-Technologies is a service-disabled veteran-owned information and technology business committed to delivering customer mission success. They are seeking a skilled IT Technician to provide direct support to their user base, manage IT infrastructure, and ensure efficient operation of IT services.

Responsibilities
Baseline User Workstations
Install software packages to user workstations
Create, Modify, and Delete user Accounts
Create, Modify, and Delete Distribution Lists, Security Groups, and Shared Mailboxes
Monitor support request queues
Triage support requests, take resolving actions, and escalate or close support requests
Create incident tickets and document resolving actions taken to resolve issues
Manage organizational Printers (currently 3) and Peripherals
Assist user base with understanding device functionality
Provide Basic end-user training/familiarization on standard baseline software (Windows 10, One-Drive, Teams, Outook, and Adobe Pro)
Perform troubleshooting for Device problems and provide replacement devices when appropriate
Utilize remote desktop software/services to manage/support deployed workstations
Provision and Issue MFA Tokens
Perform License and Account Audits
Present the Information Technology portion of on-boarding to new hires
Create knowledge articles to allow Tier 0 support for workforce
Investigate system alerts and take appropriate actions as identified as organizational incident response plan
Manage organizational Informational Technology Device inventory (laptops, MFAs, peripherals, etc..)
Manage office network infrastructure (with assistance from Network SMEs), Infrastructure includes CAT-5 cabling, router, switches, and Wireless access points
Maintain organizational network/system documents in Visio (Physical Network Diagram, Logical Network Diagram, and rack Elevations)
Draft and provide weekly IT support activity reporting to organizational leadership
Qualification
Required
Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
Any (2) Additional Microsoft 365 Administrator path certifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT management or a similar role
Intermediate knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and networking
Experience in providing direct support to a user base operating from a Microsoft 365 Tenant
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and promoting a positive work culture
