Responsibilities
Perform data entry and validation of financial data
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and/or inventory, ensuring deadlines are met
Prepare basic journal entries
Follow established accounting processes and rules
Generate reports as directed
Review accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
Collaborate with the finance team to provide timely and accurate financial information
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related degree
1+ years' experience in accounting as well as compiling and analyzing data and preparing reports
Strong knowledge of the General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite with excellent knowledge of Excel
High competency and aptitude with software packages, including accounting software, reporting tools, relational databases, and word processing
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated team player with a strong work ethic
Preferred
MAcc or CPA desired
Farming or Ag background helpful but not required
