Responsibilities
Underwrite new debt investment opportunities, including first-lien, unitranche, and other cash-flow-based financing structures
Build and review detailed financial models, including cash flow projections, leverage metrics, covenant analysis, and downside scenarios
Conduct comprehensive credit analysis, including business diligence, industry assessment, sponsor evaluation, and management review
Prepare investment memoranda and materials for internal investment committee review
Assist in structuring transaction terms, including pricing, leverage, covenants, and documentation considerations
Support deal execution processes in coordination with legal counsel, sponsors, and internal stakeholders
Monitor portfolio investments post-close, including financial performance tracking, covenant compliance, and amendment analysis
Contribute to sponsor relationship management through responsive execution support and high-quality analytical output
Qualification
Required
2-4+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, advisory services, or similar function
Demonstrated academic excellence, typically reflected by a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.4 or higher
