Quality Inspector
Sterling Engineering is a well-established manufacturing operation, and they are seeking a Quality Inspector to support inspection of machined parts and assemblies in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities
Inspect machined parts to ensure conformance with specifications and tolerances
Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and related tools
Read and interpret engineering drawings, measurements, and tolerances
Perform in-process and final inspections
Document inspection results and communicate issues to production and quality teams
Support quality standards and continuous improvement efforts
Qualification
Required
Prior experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or machining environment
Strong understanding of measurement instruments and how to properly use them
Ability to read prints and understand tolerances on machined parts (required)
High attention to detail and consistency
Comfortable working in a production/shop environment
