Operations Implementation Analyst - Specialty Pharmacy

AscellaHealth is a global Specialty Pharmaceutical and Healthcare services organization serving various stakeholders. They are seeking an Implementation Analyst to lead requirement gathering, assist with system configurations, and ensure project delivery aligns with departmental goals.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and vendors to gather and document business and technical requirements
Support project planning, timelines, and deliverables by tracking tasks and dependencies in Asana (or other project management tools). Identify risks and escalate issues quickly
Document client and business needs into clear and detailed configuration requirements
Conduct gap analyses on workflows, systems, and processes to recommend improvements
Assist with system configuration, testing, and validation in partnership with IT and vendor teams
Analyze and interpret benefit designs, accumulators, and formulary requirements to configure in the claims adjudication platform
Validate all configuration outputs
Lead root-cause analysis on any configuration output discrepancies and recommend corrective action
Develop and maintain business requirements documents (BRDs), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and implementation playbooks
Create client-facing documentation such as checklists, onboarding materials, and process flows
Support reporting and data requirements definition to ensure KPI/SLA tracking is established prior to launch
Work with Finance and Legal on pricing structures, contract alignment, and compliance needs
Partner with Operations leaders (Contact Center, Fulfillment, Analytics, Training/Documentation) to ensure operational readiness
Serve as a liaison between business teams and IT for requirements translation and solution validation
Support client-facing meetings with clear analysis, updates, and technical explanations
Develop and execute test scripts to validate end-to-end functions
Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure system compliance with client and regulatory requirements
Monitor post-launch performance and identify opportunities for process optimization
Track issues, risks, and dependencies and drive resolution prior to go-live
Provide insights into recurring client or operational challenges to drive long-term solutions
Perform other related duties as assigned or as necessary; remain flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and organizational needs

Required

Bachelor's degree, or 4-year equivalent, in Business, Health Administration, or a related field is required
2+ years of experience in business analysis, client implementation, project management support, or healthcare/PBM operations
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially with Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and project management tools (Asana, Smartsheet, or equivalent)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in PBM (Pharmacy Benefits Management), specialty pharmacy, healthcare technology, or payer services
Familiarity with claims adjudication, CRM systems, or API-driven workflows
Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements
Relentless attention to detail, and the ability to be a creative self-starter and team player
