Responsibilities
Design electrical systems for overhead and underground utility projects, including creating detailed construction drawings and accurate bills of materials
Perform field visits (25%-30%) to inspect infrastructure and ensure the accuracy of designs
Support pre-construction activities, answering questions related to the job site and design
Ability to work in a customer and client-facing environment with strong customer service skills
Qualification
Required
Entry-level experience (0-3 years) in a design engineering role
Proficiency in drafting/design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) and Microsoft Office
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
A strong desire to learn and grow in a technical environment
Must have valid driver license and reliable transportation for fielding expectations
Willingness to travel locally (up to 25%) as needed for project support
Preferred
Associate's degree in technical related field is preferred
Motivated, proactive, and eager to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Familiarity with electrical distribution systems and concepts is a plus
