Responsibilities
Design and build robust, scalable backend systems in Python using modern frameworks
Develop and maintain AI agent workflows that integrate with large language models (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source LLMs), tool-calling, memory management, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
Own end-to-end features: from backend API design and AI logic to polished React UI components
Collaborate on system design, performance optimization, and reliability for production-scale usage
Qualification
Required
6+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong proficiency in Python for backend development (FastAPI preferred)
Experience integrating and orchestrating LLMs or building AI-powered applications
Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and real-time features
Comfortable working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker)
Strong understanding of secure software development practices
Ability to ship quickly in a fast-moving startup environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
