Responsibilities
Maintain territory's jurisdictional boiler and pressure vessel certificate inspections
Efficiently and effectively manage the territory for which you are responsible for
Educate agents on how to market machinery and equipment to their clients
Serve as a professional resource to our insurance agents as they retain business and increase the value of their marketing efforts
Provide high level of claims service to our local independent insurance agents
Qualification
Required
good time management skills
solid interpersonal communication skills
the ability to react professionally under stressful situations in order to successfully resolve issues
the ability to work independently without close supervision
the ability to effectively interact and work well with different departments at our company
the ability to prepare meaningful and precise reports
valid driver's license
Preferred
machinery and equipment experience within a property and casualty insurance company
a strong knowledge of machinery and equipment, equipment breakdown coverages, corresponding business lines, regulations and consensus standards
a bachelor's degree applicable to the position responsibilities or related experience and training
a national board commission or have the necessary qualifications to promptly acquire it
strong consultative, organizational, and presentation skills
a demonstrated pursuit of continuing education
