Responsibilities
Lead and support the inventory and procurement department in daily operations and long‑term planning
Oversee and manage the open purchase order report with a strong focus on expediting and timely fulfillment
Resolve pricing discrepancies, supplier issues, and operational challenges to maintain accuracy and efficiency
Monitor stock outs and analyze trends to recommend adjustments to stocking levels and purchasing strategies
Communicate proactively with field teams regarding purchase order issues, extended lead times, and critical customer needs
Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, ensuring accountability and alignment with company standards
Respond to customer and internal stakeholder needs with urgency and professionalism
Lead or support departmental projects, process improvements, and cross‑functional initiatives
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Demonstrated adaptability and the ability to adjust to shifting priorities, workload demands, and deadlines
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, resolve issues, and drive results in a fast‑paced environment
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred
Leadership or decision-making responsibilities preferred
Experience with QuickBooks or similar purchasing/ERP systems
Background in General Industrial Supply and related products
