This role involves leading a rebagging team, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and assisting in training new associates while preparing and processing packaged goods based on customer specifications.
Food Production
Responsibilities
Leads rebagging team, acting as subject matter expert on rebagging practices, to include preparing and processing various packaged goods based on customer orders and specifications
Assists in training and development of new associates and staff
Helps in the oversight of following all safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety and quality standards as required per company policy
Continues to support team through packaging oils into sellable bag configurations
Responsible for preparation, processing, and packaging of product
Assists with oversight of team, helping to ensure adherence to all safety and sanitation procedures
Reviews production schedule, performs safety checks on equipment and obtains supplies required to perform work
Prepares work area to ensure efficient operations
Assists with and ensures completeness of all cleaning duties and required paperwork including HACCP and SQF
Takes the lead on box assembly, packing, labeling, sealing, and stacking for shipment
Assists in oversight of product rotation and stocking practices and other procedures related to inventory inspection
Follows all safety practices and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) per company policy, helping to ensure team does as well
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diplomas/GED or Equivalent Experience
6 months – 1 year experience work on a production line in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
