Responsibilities
Dimensional inspection of parts to engineering drawings and/or CAD models
Creation of ballooned engineering drawings/inspection report templates
Create, compile, and maintain inspection records and other required documentation
Examine incoming parts and documentation to confirm correct specifications and established standards are met
Interface internally and with suppliers to give feedback on part quality issues
Part numbering and traceability
Reverse engineering measurement
Non-destructive testing of parts
Communicate in a professional manner, both verbally and written
Proficient with Windows based computers and MS software such as Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Able to perform in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED required
6+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment specializing in quality/inspection
Dimensional inspection of parts to engineering drawings and/or CAD models
Creation of ballooned engineering drawings/inspection report templates
Create, compile, and maintain inspection records and other required documentation
Examine incoming parts and documentation to confirm correct specifications and established standards are met
Interface internally and with suppliers to give feedback on part quality issues
Part numbering and traceability

Preferred
Experienced with using 3D CAD based measurements tools, micrometers, calipers, bore gages, height gauges, and other metrology equipment
Solid foundational knowledge of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes
Ability to read blueprints and experience with GD&T symbols
Be a team player
Self-motivated with the ability to manage own workload to meet deadlines
Be reliable (with reliable mode of transportation)
Have great attention to detail
Strong work ethic and pride in their work
