Responsibilities
Define and execute short- and long-term merchandising strategies to drive growth and profitability
Champion innovation and sustainability initiatives to differentiate Sprouts in the marketplace
Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing to align on pricing, promotions, and marketing strategies
Translate consumer trends into compelling assortments that meet financial targets and customer expectations
Oversee supplier negotiations, pricing, and promotional strategies to exceed business results
Lead sourcing, procurement, replenishment, and inventory management strategies
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and implement preventative measures
Mentor and develop a high-performing team; foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement
Drive change management initiatives and encourage innovative thinking
Establish and monitor vendor performance metrics; hold partners accountable for service levels, funding, and compliance
Conduct regular store and supplier visits to identify opportunities and strengthen relationships
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
10+ Years of retail management experience, and 15+ years of retail merchandising experience
Proven track record of driving sustainable growth through strategic and operational excellence
Expertise in supplier relationships, supply chain, and category management
Strong knowledge of merchandising, supply planning, and forecasting
Demonstrated ability to implement systems and optimize business processes
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to innovation, customer experience, and continuous improvement
