Responsibilities
Performs receiving and batching of orders
Reads paperwork for special instructions requested by the client
Cleans rubber goods as needed before testing
Operates dielectric testing equipment and conducts testing on lineman’s gloves and other dielectric equipment
Performs other actions as required
Stamps date of testing on product tested
Maintains detailed documentation and data by completing paperwork on pass or fail
Communicate effectively with clients and co-workers
You must be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Some dielectric testing experience required
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver License is required
Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen
Effective communication skills (Written, Verbal and Listening) are required
Attention to detail required
Basic Math, Calculator and Computer Skills are required
Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed
Compliance to Safety Performance Standards
Must be able to work outdoors in diverse terrain and in all weather conditions
Physical capabilities required to safely operate a motor vehicle, in all driving conditions
Possesses sight, strength and coordination necessary to safely and effectively operate heavy and light equipment and tools
Lifts up to 50 pounds
Duties entail full-body exertion, strenuous lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling. required to stand, walk; and use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus
