Payroll Manager

Responsibilities
Timely administration of payroll processing in compliance with federal and state regulations (weekly and bi-monthly payroll cycles)
Related state and federal reporting; maintain employee files; manage and track paid sick leave, Washington Paid Family Leave, FMLA, and other regulations, as required
Balance related payroll accounts to general ledger. Pay associated payments to state and federal agencies weekly, bi-monthly, quarterly, annually
Managing union dues, benefits, and contracts (multi-state)
Qualification
Required
Five (5) years experience working in general accounting
Basic bookkeeping and accounting skills required
Current Payroll experience
Union Payroll experience
Strong organizational, data entry accuracy and problem-resolution abilities
High level of tact, confidentiality and collaborative skills
Confident multi-tasking in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Excel and ten-key
Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test
Preferred
Understanding of prevailing wage laws (state and federal)
Experience with ERM System, Spectrum ®
