Responsibilities
Set direction and provide hands‑on leadership across system and software architecture, including services, applications and databases
Ensure high‑quality technical documentation and project artifacts
Lead the evaluation, selection and implementation of new technologies, systems and solutions
Promote innovation and continuous improvement by identifying and leveraging emerging technologies (e.g., AI, machine learning)
Oversee secure software development and release management processes, including code reviews, comprehensive testing and resource allocation across multiple product platforms
Evaluate and continuously monitor the application portfolio to identify opportunities for improvement, modernization and transformation
Provide ongoing management of business applications including BizTalk, SQL and Oracle databases, Salesforce, web services/API management, .NET solutions, and EDI/FTP integrations
Ensure timely issue resolution to minimize disruption to business operations
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders, business leaders, and key technology partners to support enterprise priorities
Foster a culture of teamwork, proactive communication and shared accountability across engineering, architecture and QA teams
Lead a team of high performers by setting clear goals, providing coaching and feedback, and supporting employee development through regular evaluations and growth opportunities
Qualification
Required
Degree in Computer Sciences or Computer Information Systems
Proven experience with web services, API management, SQL and Oracle databases
10+ years in insurance, finance, or comparable fields
Proven expertise in navigating and leading within heavily regulated industries
5+ years of leadership experience
Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment
Live within a commutable distance of King of Prussia office
Preferred
Experience in the international private medical insurance (IPMI) or travel insurance industry
