Responsibilities
Track billable time on a daily basis
Prepare legal documents and general correspondence; draft standard correspondence; proofread, edit, and format documents
Prepare paper court filings and electronic filings
Organize, file, and manage electronic and paper documents, exhibits, pleading bibles, trial binders and closing bibles
Organize and submit documents for timely entry into the firm’s docket system
Manage and coordinate attorney calendars, scheduling, and travel plans
Request /organize and summarize medical records
Draft motions and answer interrogatories
Extensive client contact must possess excellent verbal and written skills
Qualification
Required
at least 2 years of insurance defense or liability experience
Excellent communication and software skills (i.e., Word, Outlook, e-filing, etc.)
Must possess excellent critical thinking and organizational skills
Track billable time on a daily basis
