Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and understand business requirements
Design, develop, and deploy Appian solutions to meet project specifications
Configure and customize Appian applications using Appian Process Modeler
Create technical specifications and documentation for Appian solutions and custom Java plugins
Work closely with architects and senior developers to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Conduct unit testing and participate in system testing to validate the functionality of developed solutions
Identify and address bugs, defects, and performance issues in a timely manner
Stay up-to-date with the latest Appian updates, features, and industry best practices
Actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and training to enhance skillset
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and end-users
Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project delivery and foster a collaborative work environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Familiarity with Appian best practices, design patterns, and performance optimization techniques
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Appian certification or target date of certification for entry level Appian developers
Preferred
Proficiency in SQL queries
Proficiency in Java programming language
