Responsibilities
Utilize Mentor PADS software to incorporate schematic, mechanical, and manufacturing inputs into: new designs, revised rigid, flex, and rigid-flex PCB layouts
Collaborate with cross-functional design teams to resolve: fabrication issues, assembly issues, test issues identified through Valor NPI fabrication and manufacturing checks
Update design files and documentation to incorporate changes to: schematics, BOMs, detail drawings ensuring proper PLM file structure
Validate integrity of PCB design packages by verifying alignment between: schematic, BOM, mechanical inputs, PCB layout, assembly documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree + 4 years relevant experience
Graduate Degree + 2 years related experience
In lieu of degree: 8 years relevant experience
Must be eligible to obtain US Security Clearance
Utilize Mentor PADS software to incorporate schematic, mechanical, and manufacturing inputs into new designs and revised rigid, flex, and rigid-flex PCB layouts
Collaborate with cross-functional design teams to resolve fabrication issues, assembly issues, and test issues identified through Valor NPI fabrication and manufacturing checks
Update design files and documentation to incorporate changes to schematics, BOMs, and detail drawings ensuring proper PLM file structure

Preferred
Experience working with PLM tools such as Agile and Teamcenter
Strong understanding of PCB design elements including schematic, BOM, mechanical, fabrication, assembly, and related design files/documentation
PCB design software experience: PADS, Xpedition, Cadence, Valor
Excellent attention to detail
Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (or related)
