Responsibilities

Evaluate and benchmark job positions within the organization to determine appropriate salary ranges and classifications
Conduct regular audits of compensation data to ensure accuracy and integrity
Assess positions to ensure career levels are aligned across the organization
Conduct pay equity analyses to ensure competitive and equitable practices, identifying outliers and recommending remediation
Manage compensation data and benchmarking for international employees across multiple countries engaged through Employer of Record (EOR) platforms
Support the annual compensation cycle including system configuration, data modeling and validation, and coordination and partnership with payroll
Draft communications and training materials for leadership regarding comp cycle logistics
Create and maintain financial models to simulate salary structures, variable pay scenarios, and budget impacts
Implement "what-if" costing scenarios to support executive decision-making
Design and maintain total rewards dashboards and reporting, ensuring data integrity
Prepare high-level analytics, translating complex datasets into clear, actionable insights
Provide guidance to HR Business Partners and managers on FLSA exemptions, benchmarking, market pricing, job revisions, and off-cycle increases
Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the company, particularly with HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Excellence
Ensure job descriptions are kept current by working with managers to reflect actual duties and requirements while ensuring career pathing is available across the organization

Required

5+ years of experience in Human Resources with a minimum of 3+ years in compensation program design and administration
A bachelor's degree is required
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to compensation
Proven ability to work with critical information independently
Requires advanced proficiency in Excel, skilled in INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, IFS, pivot tables
Demonstrated ability to build dynamic, flexible models that can handle variable inputs (e.g., merit matrices, bonus calculations) and audit them for errors
Experience managing large datasets, including 'scrubbing' data from disparate sources to ensure accuracy before analysis
Proficiency in HRIS and Compensation systems, with the ability to test system setups
Excellent accuracy in data handling; ability to spot formula errors or data inconsistencies immediately

Preferred

Previous experience in EdTech or Publishing strongly preferred
Experience managing sales compensation pay and programs strongly preferred
Experience working in a private equity-held company, a company with an international footprint, specifically in Canada
Working knowledge of Dayforce, CompTool, or other compensation planning tools
