Responsibilities

Developing next generation Avionics services, safety critical OFP software
Integrating flight critical hardware subsystems
Participating in end-to-end integration activities including a multitude of host systems, such as live assets of varying capability and structure, simulated systems, and laboratory environments with constructive simulations, physical hardware, and system simulations

Qualification

C/C++ experienceReal-time systems developmentEmbedded systems softwareGit/Bitbucket/Bamboo/LinuxSafety critical softwareNetworking protocolsCollaboration skills

Required

Bachelors degree or above from an accredited college in a relevant field of study; or equivalent experience
C/C++ experience
Development of real-time systems or use of real-time operating systems (RTOS)
Developing software for embedded systems
Software development process experience in a team environment (peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, defect tracking)
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance

Preferred

Experience with embedded real-time systems
Experience with static analysis tools and dynamics analysis tools
Experience with Systems Engineering processes (requirements development, use cases, data flows, etc.)
Experience Integrating hardware and software
Experience with Git/Bitbucket/Bamboo/Linux
Experience with C#, Python
Experience working with safety/flight critical software development processes (e.g. MIL-STD-516C, MIL-HDBK-1797, AC-17-01)
Experience with automated test methodologies
Experience with networking protocols (e.g. IP, UDP, RTP, etc.)
Experience with Modeling and Simulation (6DOF, AFSIM, Comms)
Ability to build/maintain relationships, collaborate with others, and manage interpersonal dynamics
