This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address financial risks within GM’s supply base and developing risk mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

Assess financial strength of supply base via financial statement analysis & business risk assessment
Independently lead development of risk mitigation strategies and effectively communicate risks internally
Meet with supplier executives to evaluate the supplier's risk profile
Provide analytical & strategic support for commercial negotiations
Apply analytical skills across a broad range of projects including turnaround plans, restructuring, and operational improvement plans
Monitor global and macro-economic trends to identify industry risks and exposure to GM

Required

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
