Engineering Intern
The State of Iowa - Executive Branch is seeking Engineering Interns to work with their Project Management Bureau. The role involves estimating engineering time and resources, maintaining project schedules, creating reports, reviewing invoices, and collaborating with engineers and project managers.

Estimating engineering time and resources associated with developing plans for highway and bridge projects
Maintaining schedules and other information in our project management software
Creating reports to illustrate project delays and cost increases
Reviewing invoices from engineering firms for compliance with contracts
Work directly with a team of engineers and project managers
Qualification
Required
Completion of at least two years in civil, construction, materials, or transportation engineering, or in an engineering management curriculum at an accredited four-year college or university with eligibility for junior status upon return to school
