Responsibilities
The SAP BTP Consultant is responsible for building and delivering SAP Business Technology Platform applications end to end, ensuring seamless integration, compliance, and alignment with security requirements within the Microsoft ecosystem
The role involves designing, developing, and integrating cloud-based applications using SAP BTP services and tools
The consultant will work across application development, integration, security, and deployment while supporting enterprise data handling and system interoperability
Qualification
Required
Strong experience building and delivering SAP BTP applications end to end
Solid understanding of SAP BTP fundamentals including subaccounts, entitlements, and quotas
Experience with CAP using Node.js or Java and the Cloud Foundry runtime
Hands-on experience with SAP Business Application Studio
Strong expertise in SAP Integration Suite including CPI, iFlows design and development, message mappings, and Groovy scripting
Experience with destinations, Azure Active Directory, single sign-on, XSUAA, OAuth 2.0, certificate management, and trust configuration
Strong knowledge of REST and OData APIs
Experience handling master data and key figure data
Hands-on experience with SAP HANA Cloud including HDI containers and basic data modeling
Experience integrating APIs with SAP Ariba and non-SAP systems
Familiarity with CF CLI, MTA-based deployments, and basic CI/CD pipelines including monitoring and error handling
Relevant technical degree or equivalent professional experience in SAP application development, cloud technologies, or enterprise integration
Preferred
SAP Ariba Procure-to-Pay knowledge
Inventory Management process knowledge
Understanding of Transport Order processes
Experience with ASN, Ship Notice, Ship Plan, and AN integrations
