The Partner, Human Resources Business role is responsible for end-to-end HR service delivery and managing district activities that engage schools and community leaders to improve student performance.
Primary/Secondary Education
Responsibilities
Partners in strategy development; Provides advice and consultative services to managers and employees
Provide counsel and assistance to central office managers and directors on a broad range of human resource issues
Plan and facilitate professional development for principals on leadership and human resources topics
Identify gaps in existing HR policies and contribute to the development of new HR policies and procedures
Proactively consult, influence and negotiate with Trade Union Officials on local and Companywide issues
Provide HR Business Partner support to the key Central Office areas
Manage assigned staff and programs designed to improve the achievement and performance of central office employees
Work collaboratively with the members of the Superintendent’s Cabinet, staff, and community to attain district goals
Create HR communication and change initiatives that go out to all employees from Human Resources
Maintain current on all aspects of HR policy, benefits, information or events
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a Bachelor's or relevant work experience
Three (3) year experience as an HR Business Partner or related role
Previous experience reading, writing, and interpreting bargaining agreements and contracts
Experience working effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
Experience with HRIS systems
Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize daily tasks
Knowledge of key strategies and trends in employee relations, labor relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, and other HR areas
Previous experience in union environments
Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education
Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us
Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position
Preferred
Master's Degree is Preferred
Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred
