Responsibilities
Install, configure, & maintain servers, networks, storage, and cloud systems to keep client environments secure and running smoothly
Step in on complex or escalated issues involving client infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems
Troubleshoot outages and high-impact problems, responding calmly and effectively when emergencies arise
Set up & manage firewalls, backups, access controls, and other security tools to protect systems and data
Improve performance and reliability by upgrading systems and helping introduce new solutions when needed
Keep system configurations, network diagrams, and project documentation accurate and up to date
Act as a technical resource for clients and teammates, helping them understand systems and make sound decisions
Work closely with the team to deliver projects on time and maintain consistent service quality
Stay current on new technologies and industry trends to support innovative & practical technical choices
Travel locally as needed (about 10-15%) using company vehicles to support client environments
Qualification
Required
10+ years in senior-level IT administration experience
Manufacturing knowledge is a plus
Experience with Windows servers, virtualization platforms, cloud-based services
Firewalls and VPN experience
Linux experience is required
Must have a valid driver's license
Preferred
Cisco, Microsoft, or similar certifications are preferred but not required
