Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and file employment-based immigration petitions and applications, including nonimmigrant and immigrant visa cases
Provide strategic legal advice to clients and corporate employers regarding immigration options and compliance
Represent clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of Labor (DOL), and other relevant agencies
Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and government officials to advance case progress
Conduct legal research and stay current on immigration laws, regulations, and policy updates
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in any U.S. state (Texas preferred)
At least 2 years of experience practicing immigration law
Strong analytical and legal writing skills
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Extreme attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional demeanor and client-focused approach
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and case management software
Self-motivated with strong initiative and a positive attitude
Preferred
Experience with employment-based immigration (PERM, H-1B, L-1, TN, etc.)
