Responsibilities

Lead a team of 10–15 engineers, analysts, and SDETs across multiple geographic locations
Oversee the end to end delivery lifecycle, from analyzing requirements, test planning, test execution, support developments, post-production validation
Establish and enforce delivery standards, documentation practices, and quality controls to ensure reliable deployments across all markets
Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development guidance to team members
Manage distributed delivery teams and coordinate work across time zones to enable efficient and predictable execution
Define and manage delivery processes, sprint cadences, handoff checkpoints, and governance routines
Ensure all market specific localization requirements—tax rules, currency formats, language packs, promotions, and tenders—are validated and delivered accurately
Serve as the primary point of contact for product owners, IT leaders, many involve working with external vendors
Prepare and present updates on project progress, release readiness, risk assessments, and mitigation plans
Identify, track, and resolve risks or issues affecting service delivery
Lead critical incident response, drive root cause analysis, and coordinate preventive actions
Provide functional and technical leadership in the design, configuration, and rollout of POS and payment capabilities, including multi tender support, EMV/contactless payments, QR/wallet solutions, and loyalty integrations
Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and country specific payment regulations and data protection requirements
Support localization efforts for menus, pricing models, tax rules, receipt formats, and multi language user interfaces
Manage global test environments representing multi country store conditions, including POS builds, localized menus, tax engines, language configurations, in store payment terminals, and digital payment solutions
Ensure environment stability, version control, and readiness for QA cycles and market rollout activities across both in store and digital ordering/payment channels
Maintain EMV test equipment, firmware versions, digital wallet simulators, and certification data to support regional payment testing for both physical and digital tender types (e.g., EMV/contactless, QR/pay-by-app, mobile wallets)
Define and execute an API automation strategy for ordering, payment, menu, and loyalty services
Implement and maintain automated test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, high quality releases
Support contract testing and service virtualization to increase test coverage and reduce dependency constraints

Required

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
8+ years of experience in application delivery, including at least 4 years managing teams of 10–15 members
Hands on experience in POS and payment solutions within QSR, retail, or hospitality industries
Proven success managing distributed onshore/offshore delivery models
Strong understanding of localization requirements such as currency formats, multi-language interfaces, tax rules, and region-specific payment regulations
Expertise with API testing and automation frameworks, along with CI/CD practices
Demonstrated ability to manage communication with senior stakeholders and external vendors

Preferred

Experience with QSR POS platforms such as Client Aloha, Oracle MICROS Simphony, PAR Brink, or Toast
Familiarity with global payment providers (Adyen, Worldpay, Chase, PayU, etc.)
Understanding of delivery aggregator integrations (Uber Eats, DoorDash, Deliveroo)
Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD) and PCI DSS compliance
