They are seeking a Sales Director to lead and develop a sales team while managing a personal sales quota, focusing on new business growth in the State & Local Government market.

Responsibilities
Lead new business growth across the State & Local Government (SLED) market, specifically payment processing
This role blends player-coach responsibilities: the Sales Director will own a personal sales quota while directly managing, developing, and scaling a team of 5 - 6 high-performing individual contributors (Sales Executives and/or Solutions Engineers)
Close new business that meets ARR target
Develop & execute sales plan to grow share of market
Continually prospect to add new viable accounts
Foster trusted relationships with prospective government employees
Coordinate complex sales
Consultative, client-centric, solution-oriented sales (MEDDICC)
Create delighted & referenceable clients
Deliver client proposals, RFP responses, & demos
Maintain opportunity pipeline at 5x ARR quota
Maintain sound eCRM hygiene & deliver accurate quarterly forecasts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree preferred
Proven track record of identifying & closing new business
Ability to build personal relationships with government prospects and clients
5+ years of experience in government and/or payments market
Ability to work remotely & travel up to 50%
