10+ years expNeurophos is developing an ultra-high-performance, energy-efficient photonic AI inference system. They are seeking a strategic marketing leader to drive branding and market positioning, define go-to-market strategies, and elevate their brand in the semiconductor and AI space.

Responsibilities
Establish the marketing function from the ground up. Define and execute a global marketing strategy aligned with company goals and product roadmap
Define a new optical inference category for our customers and partners. Define a brand strategy that correctly positions Neurophos as the leader in this new space
Collaborate with the CEO and other leaders to target hyperscalers and neoclouds
Distill core innovations into accessible content for investors, customers, and the broader semiconductor and AI ecosystem
Develop technical collateral (white papers, datasheets, product briefs, presentations) targeting engineers, system architects, and CTO-level buyers
Create technical features requirement lists and communicate with the R&D team to define solutions, with clear value propositions
Manage our public presence at key industry events
Manage marketing budget and allocate resources to maximize ROI
Qualification
Required
Over 10 years of progressive marketing leadership experience, ideally within semiconductors, data center hardware, optics/photonics, or cloud infrastructure
Demonstrated success in transitioning disruptive hardware technologies from initial concept to significant market launches
Experience in establishing and refining marketing technology stacks, such as marketing automation, CRM, ABM, and analytics tools
Skilled at conveying marketing strategies and business results to executive audiences, board members, and technical stakeholders, while effectively translating customer insights to internal teams
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and starting projects from scratch. Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on experience in setting up marketing functions within high-growth environments, developing processes, and improving operations
Preferred
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field
In-depth knowledge of the AI inference hardware landscape
Experience marketing and selling into hyperscalers and neoclouds
Experience with early- and growth-stage hardware companies
