Business Development Rep

AdventHealth is a community-focused organization dedicated to uplifting individuals in body, mind, and spirit. The Business Development Rep will be responsible for marketing Home Based Services, developing business relationships with providers, and facilitating communication between referral partners and the agency.

Responsibilities

Provides direct marketing of Home Based Service to assigned areas
Develops, implements, and evaluates quarterly and annual territory plans to achieve growth goals and implement agreed-upon strategies and actions
Develops business relationships with providers by making effective sales calls and presentations to targeted referral sources
Acts as liaison between referral partners and the agency to communicate information about new products, programs, and service delivery
Meets with patients and families to discuss home health, hospice, and palliative care services, individual needs/concerns, and manage expectations; obtains signed consent documents
Builds relationships within the admissions department and with patient care resources staff to ensure effective communication with referral sources and internal stakeholders
Updates and maintains customer and competitor profiles, logs daily call activity, and documents plans for follow-up activities with referral sources
Serves as agency staff liaison with physicians, facility nurses, social workers, discharge planners, and community agencies to facilitate the delivery of appropriate services for potential patients
Utilizes current agency and/or department-specific software to complete assignments and documents relevant information into electronic database systems
Performs other duties as assigned
Participates in marketing efforts to educate the healthcare community about home health and hospice programs, including physician calls, lunch and learns, health fairs, speaker’s bureau, and CEU programs for healthcare providers
Prepares monthly tracking reports on referral sources and keeps the agency informed of key marketplace changes relating to providers and competitors

Required

Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing and typing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements
Must have excellent oral communication skills
Knowledge of Communications and Public Relations procedures
Knowledge (intermediate to advanced) of the sales process
Knowledge of intermediate to advanced application of Microsoft Office Suite including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook as well as internet software
Ability to complete AdventHealth Home Care Orientation and Training, as necessary
Associate's in Business, Marketing or Health Science
3+ years marketing experience
Driver's License (DL)
Auto Insurance (AL)
