Responsibilities
Develop and implement an integrated giving strategy encompassing individual, major, corporate, and endowment giving
Partner with the CDO to set annual fundraising goals, revenue targets, and performance metrics
Supervise and mentor the fundraising team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth
Support the development of long-term endowment and planned giving initiatives that strengthen financial sustainability
Manage a personal portfolio of major and corporate donors, with tailored cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies
Identify and secure new corporate partnerships, sponsorships, and philanthropic collaborations aligned with organizational priorities
Lead efforts to expand endowment support, working closely with the CDO and Board Development Committee
Oversee donor recognition programs, impact reporting, and events designed to engage and retain supporters
Collaborate across departments to ensure consistent messaging and integration of fundraising with marketing, programs, and community engagement
Provide coaching, goal-setting, and performance feedback for team members
Oversee efficient processes and systems that support donor relations, stewardship, and pipeline development
Partner with communications and marketing teams to develop compelling materials, proposals, and reports for donors and partners
Contribute to campaign planning, including feasibility assessments and donor engagement strategies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
7+ years of progressive fundraising experience with demonstrated success in individual, corporate, and major giving
Proven experience managing or securing endowment or planned gifts
Leadership experience overseeing fundraising teams and achieving revenue goals
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Familiarity with Donor Perfect or other CRM/database systems
Commitment to the organization's mission and values
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel to/between Medora and donor events, as needed
Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends in support of organizational events
This is a full-time, exempt remote position
