They are seeking an Entry-Level Industrial Engineer (Temporary) to support warehouse operations through hands-on learning, data collection, and time study analysis, while partnering with operations leadership to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities
Learn and understand all warehouse and fulfillment center processes through observation and job shadowing
Conduct time studies and work measurement analysis across various warehouse functions (e.g., picking, packing, receiving, shipping)
Collect, analyze, and report productivity metrics such as units per hour (UPH) and labor efficiency
Support the development and validation of a fair and accurate incentive pay program
Document standard work, process flows, and study findings clearly and consistently
Partner with operations and management to review data and provide improvement recommendations
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, and labor standards
Occasionally perform warehouse roles such as picking or packing to better understand processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field required, unless the candidate is a current Industrial Engineering student
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; ability to analyze and organize data
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Ability to communicate effectively with hourly associates and management
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Ability to adapt and work well in a dynamic operational setting
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a warehouse environment
Ability to observe and evaluate warehouse operations on the floor
Exposure to warehouse conditions such as noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures
Preferred
Current Industrial Engineering students with foundational knowledge of time studies and productivity metrics are strongly encouraged to apply
