Group Sales Manager
Thompson Dallas is a luxury hotel that offers personalized hospitality in a stunning urban setting. The Group Sales Manager is responsible for selling guest rooms and meeting spaces, managing accounts, and conducting site inspections while coordinating customer service requirements and participating in sales meetings.

Selling guest rooms, meeting space and other Thompson services to customer groups
Managing accounts
Conducting site inspections
Solicits and generates business
Preparing and presenting effective proposals
Maintaining well organized documentation and reports
Utilizes Hyatt systems and coordinates customer service requirements as appropriate
Participate and may lead event meetings, sales and other staff meetings
Works as a team member with the sales and catering staff
In close contact with assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff
Qualification
Required
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
Refined verbal and written communication skills
A minimum of 1-3 years of luxury hotel sales
Must be proficient in general computer knowledge and have the ability to learn computer and web-based applications
Ability to preserve confidentiality, and be able to work in a team environment
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
This is an on-site Monday to Friday position, with needed availability to work on weekends based on customer needs
Preferred
Prefer selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training
