Quant Analytics Sr. Associate
Akkodis Group Nordics is seeking a Quant Analytics Sr. Associate for a contract with a client in Cleveland, OH. The role involves validating complex quantitative models, assessing their methodological soundness, and communicating actionable findings to model owners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Perform hands‑on quantitative model validation and review, assessing conceptual soundness, data integrity, methodology, and ongoing performance using backtesting, benchmarking, and stress testing techniques
Provide effective challenge to model assumptions, limitations, and methodologies to ensure robustness, regulatory compliance, and sound risk management practices
Analyze and validate statistical and AI/ML‑based financial models, leveraging programming skills in Python, R, SQL, or SAS to support testing and validation efforts
Prepare detailed validation reports, memos, and documentation outlining validation approaches, findings, conclusions, and recommended remediation actions
Present validation results, weaknesses, and observations to model developers, owners, and stakeholders, translating complex quantitative findings into actionable insights
Support internal audits and regulatory examinations by presenting validation methodologies and results and assist in the remediation of audit or exam findings while staying current on regulatory trends
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline (master's degree preferred)
5–10 years of experience in quantitative analytics, financial modeling, risk management, or model validation within a regulated financial environment
Strong hands‑on expertise in statistical and AI/ML model development or validation, with proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or SAS for financial and risk analytics
Demonstrated experience in model risk management, regulatory compliance analytics, and the ability to clearly communicate complex quantitative findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
