Responsibilities

Lead the work that defines clinical excellence and patient safety
Coordinate performance improvement initiatives
Oversee measurement and reporting
Work with cross-functional teams to strengthen quality and safety outcomes
Serve as the hospital’s risk manager, analyzing incidents and trends, supporting litigation-related matters, and communicating priorities to hospital and system leadership

Required

Master's degree in administration or healthcare related field
3-4 years in accreditation/regulatory affairs/performance improvement/patient safety in health care

Experience with or knowledge of risk/safety event reporting software
Certification in Quality
Patient Safety Officer Certification
