Employee Relations - Senior Manager
Oakleaf Partnership is supporting a well-established financial services organization in the search for an Employee Legal Relations Lead. This critical role is responsible for overseeing employee relations, workforce compliance, and people-related risk across a regulated environment while partnering with HR leadership, Legal, Risk, and Compliance.
Responsibilities
Lead complex employee relations matters, investigations, and disciplinary processes
Develop and maintain ER policies, procedures, and documentation
Advise managers and employees on ER-related issues
Ensure compliance with labor laws, immigration requirements, and internal policies
Conduct audits and workforce compliance reviews
Monitor regulatory changes and implement policy updates
Partner with HR, Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams on people-related risk matters
Draft key documentation including handbooks, mobility letters, and immigration materials
Track ER trends, compliance metrics, and emerging risks
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in employee relations and HR compliance
Strong background within financial services or Legal environment
Deep knowledge of labor law, immigration, and compliance standards
Confident handling investigations and sensitive matters
Strong communication, judgment, and stakeholder-management skills
