Early Career Talent Specialist
Targa Resources is seeking an Early Career Talent Specialist to lead their early career development initiatives and university recruiting efforts. This role will manage programs that attract and develop emerging talent, overseeing the entire lifecycle from planning to performance tracking, while partnering with business leaders to align program goals with workforce needs.

Responsibilities
Manage early graduate rotational and internship programs (ADP) end-to-end, including schedule design, job rotational assignments, manager assignments, performance, and a structured onboarding-to-offboarding experience
Maintain program calendars, documentation, and communication materials to ensure smooth operations and consistent engagement across all stakeholders
Partner with business leaders to identify rotational assignments aligned to organizational needs
Develop and enhance manager toolkits, expectations, and coaching resources for leaders hosting rotations or interns
Provide regular reporting on program metrics, outcomes, and ROI for senior leadership
Design and deliver onboarding programs, training sessions, workshops, and development activities for early career talent, ensuring engaging and impactful learning experiences
Create feedback loops with participants, managers, and stakeholders to drive performance and continuously improve program quality
Lead campus recruiting strategy, including headcount planning, job postings, resume review, interviews, and offer management
Prepare for and attend all on-campus events
Build and maintain relationships with core universities, student groups, and faculty to enhance employer branding
Coordinate and attend career fairs and on-campus events, ensuring logistics, materials, and volunteer readiness
Lead and manage Targa’s summer intern program end-to-end, including headcount planning, intern placements, onboarding, orientation, engagement activities, and the post-internship offer process
Manage candidate communications, interview scheduling, and consensus meetings with hiring managers
Serve as the primary interviewer for all ADP and internship candidates, ensuring a consistent and high-quality candidate experience
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
3+ years of experience in university or early career recruiting, preferably in the oil and gas or energy sector
Willingness to travel during peak recruiting seasons in the Fall and Spring
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Taleo) and campus recruiting platforms such as Symplicity and Handshake
