Responsibilities

Lead the implementation of basic and advanced quality control and quality assurance tools
Investigate, document, and resolve nonconformances affecting customer satisfaction
Drive corrective actions (CA) and preventative actions (PA) across products and processes
Develop, monitor, and adjust quality metrics to measure process effectiveness
Conduct root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies
Perform and support Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
Drive improvements to manufacturing inputs and related business operations
Support and/or lead APQP and PPAP activities (in whole or in part)
Monitor and respond to audit results for work-in-process and finished goods
Assess effectiveness of assembly methods, training, and documentation, and drive changes as needed
Evaluate fit, form, and function of products and components to specifications
Support capability studies, statistical sampling, and acceptance quality limits
Lead and assist others with small projects as assigned
Perform additional duties as required to support organizational objectives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
Experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment
Working knowledge of quality standards and similar regulated environments
Familiarity with ERP system operations
Advanced functional understanding of quality tools including: FMEA, Control Plans, APQP, MSA, Capability Studies
Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
Understanding of statistical sampling and acceptance quality limits
Ability to collect, analyze, interpret, and present data
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven mindset

Preferred

Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Project management experience
Strong problem-solving ability to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions
High attention to detail to ensure processes, data, and specifications meet quality standards
Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and control plans
Data-driven mindset with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret quality and process data
Understanding of manufacturing processes, variation reduction, and process control
Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to improving quality and efficiency
Clear and effective communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong collaboration skills to influence cross-functional teams and drive quality initiatives
Ownership and accountability for quality outcomes and issue resolution
Adaptability and resilience when managing changing priorities and operational pressures
Customer-focused mindset with an understanding of how quality impacts customer satisfaction
Strong ethical judgment and commitment to compliance, standards, and safety
