Provider Engagement Account Manager
SoTalent is a leading healthcare organization seeking a Provider Engagement Account Manager to strengthen relationships across its contracted provider network. This role focuses on advancing value-based care initiatives while collaborating with physicians, provider groups, and internal leadership teams.
Responsibilities
Build and sustain strategic partnerships with physicians and provider organizations to support high-quality, cost-effective care across local communities
Conduct regular on-site visits with providers to offer hands-on support, review performance metrics, and identify opportunities to enhance clinical and operational outcomes
Partner with physicians to advance value-based care programs, aligning on performance-driven agreements that improve patient outcomes, quality, and efficiency
Leverage data and analytics to monitor provider performance and deliver actionable insights that support continuous improvement
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, including executive leadership, to align network strategies with organizational goals
Serve as a subject matter expert on value-based performance tools and reporting, educating providers to improve adoption and results
Act as a primary point of contact for provider-related concerns, coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues and prevent future escalations
Investigate, manage, and communicate resolutions for complex, high-impact provider claims and reimbursement matters
Educate provider partners on referral processes, claims submission, electronic data interchange (EDI), and digital tools to improve operational efficiency
Evaluate provider performance and develop targeted improvement plans to drive measurable results
Prepare and present detailed performance and HBR analyses for Joint Operating Committee (JOC) meetings
Lead, coach, and support external field representatives to ensure consistent execution and strong provider engagement
Travel locally up to four days per week to support provider relationships and network objectives
Perform additional duties as needed while maintaining compliance with all policies and standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
Strong background in provider relations, network management, or value-based care within a healthcare environment
Proven ability to build trusted relationships with physicians, provider groups, and executive-level stakeholders
Experience using performance analytics to guide decision-making and provider improvement initiatives
Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
