They are seeking a Foundation Development Specialist to assist with fundraising campaigns, grant administration, and major gift programs, while also developing donor relationships and implementing tracking strategies for solicitation efforts.

Responsibilities

Assist with fundraising campaigns including budgets and timelines. Coordinate the creative process, file selection, production and mailing, and the acknowledgement process
Support strategy to train staff on marketing campaigns, soliciting donors, and defining levels of giving and benefits. Create printed materials and update databases and websites with campaign program information
Implement donor relations/recognition activities. Develop donor confidence and relationships through effective gift solicitation, processing and acknowledgement
Support the development and implementation of tracking strategies for solicitation efforts and perform analysis of data for results

Fundraising experienceGrant administrationDonor relationsCertification in Fund RaisingCommunication skills

Required

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
must have reliable transportation for occasional travel for meetings

Preferred

Bachelors degree highly preferred
Certification specializing in Fund Raising preferred
CFRE preferred but not required
2 years fundraising experience preferred
