Responsibilities
Manages inventory by creating requisitions for ordering, tracking movement of orders and supplies, and documenting the return or receipt of supplies through the appropriate inventory system
Inspects package integrity and rotates stock to reduce expiration of products. Manages inventory locations and storage areas to ensure environmental controls are maintained
Establishes and adheres to routine cleaning and inspection schedules for all inventory locations
Processes department repairs and special orders or requests within the budget for the designated department
Maintains appropriate par levels and minimizes overnight shipping
Qualification
Required
High School Grad or Equiv
Ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively to carry out job requirements
Preferred
Strong planning, time management and organizational skills
Working knowledge with computers that include Outlook, Excel, ERP, and hand-held devices
Ability to manage stress and handle challenging situations and personalities
2+ healthcare clinical project coordination experience
3+ emergency medical services/ed tech experience
Experience in coordinating the opening of a new clinical area
Experience with supply and equipment management
Previous lead experience
Previous material management or hospital supply experience
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS)
