2+ years expThe Brick is actively seeking an Appliance Repair Apprentice to join their service team. This role involves delivering superior customer service while conducting appliance diagnostics, estimating repair costs, and completing repairs on various domestic appliances.

Responsibilities
Conduct appliance diagnostics to determine root cause of issues
Estimate the costs of repairs (parts and labour)
Order parts and ensure inventory supply levels are sufficiently maintained
Complete repairs on various brands and types of domestic appliances
Update all service documentation, describing repairs in detail and reporting identification of repaired stock
Adhere to all health and safety, security, building and departmental procedures
Ensure the proper maintenance of shop tools
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
2 or more years previous experience and/or education in major appliance service
Valid driver's license (must be able to provide a clean driving abstract)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly developed technical, investigative, and analytical skills
Punctuality and dependability a must
Must be organized and detail oriented
Appliance Technician certification or willingness to obtain one
Preferred
Domestic Appliance or Gas Technician 2 Certification and ODP would be considered assets
