Responsibilities

Maintain up-to-date knowledge on ORR Policy and Procedures and CWS policies and procedures
Ensures compliance as it relates to the delivery of Post Release Services and home studies (as assigned) with attention to timeliness and accuracy of core service delivery
Manages the oversight of virtual and in-person PRS services
Manages the oversight of home studies, as assigned
Supports team to reach capacity goals, assign and manage caseloads
Reviews and approves all PRS reports in a timely manner and ensures quality of care to clients
Ensures timely submission of required Notices of Concerns, reports and other documentation to the donor
Supports staff in responding appropriately to crisis situations (abuse, trafficking, exploitation, etc.) that arise and seeks technical support as needed
Identifies and reports trends in service delivery
Actively participates in network meetings and activities and contributes to content creation that is responsive to client needs and trends
Ensures staff meet donor requirements and satisfactory completion of required trainings
Contributes content to training and standard operating procedures and socializes changes timely to ensure compliance with ORR and CWS expectations
Conducts monitoring efforts for core service delivery and leads the response efforts to address gaps in compliance that may arise
Prepares for monitoring by CWS and ORR and responds accordingly to monitoring reports and corrective actions, as needed
Works collaboratively with HSPRS team to create and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives
Provides data for quarterly and annual reporting to the donor
Oversees resource linkage and ensures resources are viable and relevant
Elevates the visibility of the HSPRS program within the local communities in the areas of their geographic responsibility to increase access to supportive services for clients
Conducts outreach and education among local service providers and systems to improve awareness and understanding of population and PRS services
Promotes positive team morale, staff safety and well-being
Provides direct supervision to a team of 8-10 Case Managers and creates opportunities for mutual sharing of expertise across teams
Supports direct reports to create goals, learning and development and manage performance
Leads hiring efforts for vacant positions as needs arise
Serves as a mandated reporter and ensure reporting of suspected abuse or neglect in accordance with CWS policies and procedures

Required

Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science fields required
Minimum 3 years of experience conducting home studies and writing assessment reports, working with children and youth, family reunification/preservation, and or foster care/child welfare and previous work experience and interest working with foreign born populations is required
Minimum 1 year of prior supervisory experience required
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining external partnerships required
Fluency in written and verbal English and Spanish required
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Ability to track and analyze data and adjust plans to ensure performance
Strong writing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Experience using database for client record keeping
Organized and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to remain nimble, flexible and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Able to sit for an extended period
Remote position must have access to reliable internet and appropriate work space
Standard work hours with occasional evening or weekend assignment
Successfully pass Motor Vehicle Records, SEA, FBI, and Child Abuse and Neglect Checks and federal Suitability Determination by third party vendor (not affiliated with CWS)
Valid driver's license, personal vehicle and insurance required
Reasonable proximity to airport for occasional travel required (network conference, supervision, training and monitoring visits, program retreat, etc.)

Preferred

Master's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science highly preferred
Licensed or license eligible highly preferred but not required
Experience supervising large teams geographically disbursed highly preferred
