Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed Tech Packs, including specifications, construction details, pattern corrections, and workmanship standards to achieve optimal fit, balance, and overall garment quality
Measure and evaluate samples, enter accurate data into PLM, and prepare samples for fit sessions and approvals
Participate in bi-weekly fit sessions and cross-functional meetings; document fit feedback, track action items, and follow up to ensure timely execution
Manage follow-up photo samples and first-fit sample requests through approval
Track sample status, revisions, and approvals in PLM to support development timelines
Coordinate garment alterations, submit alteration requests, and maintain status tracking in Smartsheet
Partner with Merchandising and Marketing to review catalog and web copy for accuracy in size equivalents, fit attributes, and length descriptions
Review website and catalog imagery to ensure accurate visual representation of fit and product details
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or equivalent industry experience
3+ years of experience in Technical Design or the apparel industry
Solid understanding of garment fit, balance, construction, fabrics, and fabric performance
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and PLM systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate fit issues and solutions
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated problem solver with strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency
Collaborative team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment
Preferred
Experience with computerized pattern programs
