Full Stack Developer (Remote Opportunity)
VetsEZ is seeking a remote Full Stack Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in both front-end and back-end development, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions throughout the development process.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement scalable applications using Java (Java EE, Java 17), Spring Framework, and Python, ensuring high performance and reliability
Build and maintain responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular, optimizing for cross-browser compatibility
Develop and manage server-side logic, RESTful APIs, and relational databases, integrating front-end and back-end components effectively
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues while maintaining high code quality through peer reviews and adherence to development standards
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous integration
Utilize testing frameworks such as Cypress, JUnit, and Playwright to validate functionality and address security vulnerabilities using industry best practices
Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful solution delivery
Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer supporting enterprise or government applications in an Agile environment
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and object-oriented programming
Hands-on experience with React or Angular and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
Experience using Git and modern CI/CD pipelines
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams
Preferred
Experience with automated testing tools such as Cypress, JUnit, and Playwright
Familiarity with cloud environments and secure development practices
Experience supporting federal or VA systems is a plus
Ability to obtain and maintain required government background clearance
