Responsibilities
Perform in-depth functional and technical analysis of existing Delphi applications
Document complex business rules, workflows, and application logic at both technical and business levels
Provide ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and production support for Delphi applications
Support application upgrades, deployments, and defect resolution
Assist with the development of strategic plans for application modernization and upgrades
Implement application changes to support new business or regulatory requirements
Develop, maintain, and support reporting solutions (e.g., Crystal Reports or equivalent)
Develop, maintain, and support batch processing programs and scheduled jobs
Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams to gather and clarify requirements
Ensure solutions meet quality, performance, and reliability standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum of 7 years of overall Information Technology experience
At least 4 years of hands-on experience developing or maintaining client/server applications using Delphi (Embarcadero)
Strong expertise in supporting and upgrading Delphi applications at both technical and business levels
Demonstrated ability to independently analyze and understand complex business logic
Experience working directly with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements and produce clear documentation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal, teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation skills
Proven analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Experience migrating applications to Microsoft SQL Server or similar relational databases
Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Preferred
Experience developing, maintaining, or supporting Java applications
Experience with requirements and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket or similar)
Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Slack, Teams, or equivalent)
Experience with wireframing or diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Miro, InVision, or equivalent)
