New Grad, Entry LevelDelavan Holdings is looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory effectively and ensure smooth operations within the supply chain. The role involves maintaining inventory levels, ordering supplies, and keeping accurate records while collaborating with team members and vendors.

Responsibilities
Order new supplies as inventory dwindles, always up to pre-authorized limits
Create and maintain backup sources for high-demand items
Review inventory reports to identify items for automatic, recurring delivery
Provide insightful inventory reports to the purchasing manager
Develop strong working relationships with vendors for optimal support
Maintain accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made
Oversee our inventory management system and facilitate upgrades
Perform spot checks and assist with annual physical inventory audits
Operate a forklift when necessary
Qualification
Required
Exceptional Communicator: Engage effectively with warehouse staff, purchasing department, and vendors
Inventory Knowledge: Solid understanding of inventory control procedures
Tech-Savvy: Proficient keyboarding skills and experience with computerized inventory systems
Organizational Wizard: Extremely organized and able to work independently
Math Skills: Ability to perform basic math calculations
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience with computerized inventory systems is essential
Preferred
Forklift operator certification preferred but not mandatory
